X-rays are not the only tool our dentist uses to take a closer look at the health of your mouth. We also utilize intraoral cameras at the practice of Todd Tibbs to produce colored, high-resolution images of your teeth and gums. We use these images to get a second look at your mouth and to keep an accurate dental record. Contact our practice today if you want to learn more about our intraoral cameras in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Using our intraoral cameras, you can see exactly what our dental staff sees when we look in your mouth. This pen-sized camera is used by Dr. Todd Tibbs or our hygienist to examine your mouth and to help us detect any potential problems or irregularities. Because of its small size, the camera is able to reach and take pictures of the hard-to-reach areas located in the back of the mouth. After the pictures are taken, the images are sent to your patient file, where you and our dental team can review them and decide which dental treatments are right for you.

The intraoral camera allows us to monitor the effectiveness of our treatments as well as easily show the documented information to other healthcare providers or insurance agencies as needed.
